Chester Johnson, author of the “Litany of Offense and Apology”

for the Episcopal Church’s role in transatlantic slavery and related evils.

Chester is also the author of “Damaged HeritageThe Elaine Race Massacre and a Story of Reconciliation”, and worked with W.H. Auden in retranslating the psalms for the Book of Common Prayer.
